P!nk - Just Give Me A Reason
Se si parla di musica pop contemporanea americana non si può non fare il nome di una delle artiste più originali e talentuose degli ultimi anni, sto parlando di Alecia Beth Moore, in arte P!nk, che è tornata a fine 2012 con l'album "The Truth About Love", il quale riunisce tutte le anime di questa straordinaria artista.
Un ritornello orecchiabile e due voci amalgamate perfettamente sono gli ingredienti del suo nuovo singolo, il terzo estratto dal nuovo album. Si tratta di "Just Give Me a Reason", un pezzo molto intimo cantato in duetto con il leader dei Fun., Nate Ruess, il quale impreziosisce ulteriormente un brano che ha tutte le carte in regola per replicare il successo del precendente singolo di P!nk, "Try". Va detto che questa canzone si avvicina maggiormente allo stile dei Fun. piuttosto che a quello della cantante americana, ma d'altronde forse l'intento era proprio questo. Il video dà senz'altro una marcia in più alla canzone e ci mostra P!nk sdraiata su un letto che galleggia sull'acqua, mentre Nate Ruess canta attraverso un televisore. Da segnalare la presenza del marito di P!nk, Carey Hart.
